EN 14404 – Personal protective equipment – Knee protectors for work in the kneeling position
The standard describes test methods and requirements for knee protectors for use in a kneeling position. The standard differentiates between four types and three performance levels of penetration resistance. Level 0 provide no protection against penetration, level 1 provide protections against penetrations at a force of at least 100 N and level 2 provide protections against penetrations at a force of at least 250 N.
